Al-bayda: The Governor of Al-Bayda, Abdullah Idris, conducted an inspection of the maintenance and restoration work at the historic Al-Rabat Mosque located in Rada'a city. This initiative is part of the first phase aimed at rehabilitating religious and historical landmarks, spearheaded by the Awqaf Authority. During his visit, Governor Idris reviewed the restoration work on the mosque's domes, walls, and ceilings, emphasizing the preservation of its architectural identity.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Idris highlighted the significance of safeguarding historical heritage and instructed the implementing agencies to adhere to technical standards and follow the project timeline diligently. It was confirmed that the restoration of Al-Baghdadiya Mosque will advance into its second phase.
Additionally, the Governor inspected the ongoing construction at the Central Market project in Rada'a. He was briefed on the different stages of implementation and noted that the project signifies an economic and service transformation for the city. Governor Idris urged for the high-quality completion of the work and emphasized enhancing the role of the Awqaf Authority in maximizing the investment of endowment properties.
