Sana'a: A commemorative event was held on Thursday in Al-Jawaleh area of Mudhaykhirah District, Ibb Governorate, on the occasion of the Prophet's Birthday for the year 1447 AH, as part of the activities taking place across districts to celebrate this religious occasion.
According to Yemen News Agency, Bandar Al-Ahdel, the Director of Community Initiatives in the governorate, emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's Birthday reflects the deep bond with the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad, peace be upon him, and his family. It expresses gratitude for God's blessings and adherence to the path of Ahl al-Bayt. He stressed that the occasion represents an important spiritual station to draw lessons from the Prophet's life, emulate his noble morals and principles, and reinforce the values of sacrifice, justice, and courage in confronting tyranny.
The event, attended by Directors of Initiatives in Mudhaykhirah and Al-Mashannah districts, Zaid Basha and Mohammed Al-Qasim, along with officials, community leaders, and dignitaries, included speeches, poems, and school performances expressing the significance of the occasion.
Meanwhile, the Security Department, Civil Status Authority, and Transport Office in Al-Sadda District also organized a commemorative event. District Director Mohammed Al-Darwani highlighted the importance of reviving the Prophet's Birthday to draw lessons from his noble life. He mentioned that divisions and conflicts imposed on the Muslim nation by its enemies aim to weaken it and exploit its resources.
District Security Chief Colonel Moammar Dabwan stressed the importance of celebrating the Prophet's Birthday in strengthening faith identity, calling for a return to the Prophet's life, and embodying his ethics, values, and principles in all aspects of life. Additionally, District Transport Director Abdul-Kafi Abbad described Yemen's current victories as a result of holding firmly to the Prophet's path, noting that Yemenis today are confronting falsehood and ignorance just as their Ansar forefathers faced the first age of ignorance.
