Emergency Response Unit Begins Clearing Flood Debris in Mahweet

Mahweet: The Central Emergency Intervention Unit has commenced operations to remove debris and repair roads that suffered damage due to recent floods. This follows a coordination meeting between the province's General Mobilization Officer, Ismail Sharaf al-Din, and the unit's engineering team.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting assessed the flood damage impacting homes and main roads, notably the route to Hafash District center. An urgent plan was approved to clear obstacles and restore transportation.

Field teams have initiated immediate work, with the unit highlighting the necessity for swift action and collaborative efforts from both officials and the community. These steps aim to alleviate difficulties faced by citizens and rehabilitate the damaged infrastructure.
