Governor and Deputy Minister Visit College of Applied and Human Sciences in Shibam District

Al-mahwit: Governor of Al-Mahwit, Haneen Qutaina, and Deputy Minister of Local and Rural Administration, Nasser Al-Mahdar, conducted a visit to the College of Applied and Human Sciences in Shibam District to review the educational process.

According to Yemen News Agency, during their visit, the officials were briefed by the leadership of Al-Mahwit University and the college administration on the various departments and specializations offered. They also learned about the efforts being made to qualify staff and provide a suitable learning environment for students.

Governor Qutaina acknowledged the scientific and national contributions of Al-Mahwit University and its academic staff toward serving the governorate's residents. He affirmed the local authority's commitment to supporting the university and its colleges. He highlighted the significance of the college as an achievement of the 21 September Revolution, marking a transformation in the educational sector and granting residents access to higher education.

Deputy Minister Al-Mahdar expressed appreciation for the facilities and the educational and academic processes at the college. He emphasized the importance of universities in building human capacities and supporting rural development.
