Sana'a: The lineup of teams qualified for the semifinals of Al-Mawlid Al-Nabawi Football Championship in Aslam District, Hajja Governorate, has been completed.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Aslam Central Unit team secured the fourth and final spot in the semifinals of the tournament organized by the local branch of the Youth and Sports Office under the supervision of the Governorate Youth and Sports Office and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, with support from the Youth Welfare Fund. They achieved this by defeating Shabab Al-Amal team in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw, in front of a large and enthusiastic audience.
The four teams advancing to the semifinals, out of the 16 that participated, are: Al-Aslam Sham Unit, Al-Aslam Sham Tadamun, Al-Amal Aslam Central, and Al-Aslam Central Unit.
Al-Amal Aslam Central will face Al-Aslam Sham Tadamun next Friday, while Al-Aslam Sham Unit will take on Al-Aslam Central Unit next Saturday to determine the finalists.
