Al bayda: The Governor of Al Bayda, Abdullah Idris, and the Deputy Minister of Information, Dr. Omar Al-Bukhayti, inaugurated the Al Bayda Governorate Radio today.
According to Yemen News Agency, the inauguration saw the presence of key officials including the Deputy Head of the Grievance Redress Authority, Younis Al-Mansour, and the Sales Manager of the Public Telecommunications Corporation, Engineer Saif Saran. The Director of the Media Office in the governorate, Abdulaziz Al-Maljami, was also in attendance. During the event, the officials toured the radio station's departments and received a briefing from the radio director, Mohammed Amer, on the program schedule, awareness activities, and challenges faced by the station.
Governor Idris acknowledged the efforts of the media professionals in Al Bayda, highlighting the radio station's role in disseminating information across the governorate and neighboring regions. He stressed the importance of addressing the crimes committed by aggressors and enhancing community resilience, while also keeping up with development in various sectors within the governorate.
The Deputy Minister of Information, Dr. Al-Bukhayti, praised the determination of media personnel in the face of aggression and their significant contribution to revealing the crimes against the Yemeni people. He lauded the Media Office, Saba News Agency, and Al Bayda Radio for their comprehensive coverage of official and public events in the governorate. Dr. Al-Bukhayti affirmed the ministry's commitment to supporting the radio station to effectively deliver its message within the constraints of available resources.
