Al hodeidah: Abdullah Atifi, the Governor of Al Hodeidah, inaugurated 19 water projects powered by solar energy in the directorates of Al-Hawk, Al-Hali, and Al-Mina. The projects, with a total cost exceeding 81 million Yemeni riyals, were funded by the local authority and implemented by the Solar Energy Technical Institution.
According to Yemen News Agency, the initiative aims to improve the stability and sustainability of water services for thousands of citizens and reflects the governorate's trend toward adopting sustainable and economical solutions.
The Governor affirmed the priority of the water sector and the continuation of implementing service and development projects. The directors of the benefiting directorates praised the projects' positive impact on alleviating citizens' suffering and enhancing service stability.
