Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed on Wednesday at 5947.17 points, down 14.3 points, or 0.24 percent, compared to the previous trading session's close of 5961.49 points. Trading value reached 41,621,956 Omani rials, an increase of 0.8 percent compared to the previous session's 41,802,113 Omani rials.
According to Yemen News Agency, the report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated that the market capitalization decreased by 0.189 percent from the previous trading day, reaching approximately 32.18 billion Omani rials. Non-Omanis' purchases on the stock exchange amounted to 3 million and 940 thousand Omani riyals, constituting 9.47 percent, while non-Omanis' sales amounted to 1 million and 713 thousand Omani riyals, or 4.12 percent. The net non-Omani investment increased by 2 million and 226 thousand Omani riyals, or 5.35 percent.
