Mahwit: Governor of Mahwit, Haneen Qutaina, and Deputy Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development, Nasser Al-Mahdar, reviewed the progress of the Community Seed Bank in the city of Al-Tawila and its role in supporting agricultural development and enhancing food security in the district and governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, Qutaina and Al-Mahdar were briefed by bank officials on the mechanisms for preserving, improving, and distributing improved local seeds, the bank's departments and contents, and its role in protecting agricultural biodiversity and providing pure seeds to farmers.
