Governor of Shabwa Urges Residents to Avoid Saudi Mobilizations

Shabwa:The Governor of Shabwa, Awad Al-Awlaki, has urged residents of Shabwa and the southern governorates to refrain from participating in Saudi-led mobilizations, which he claims are part of a brutal aggression and unjust siege on Yemen and its people.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Awlaki reiterated that the Yemeni Armed Forces have no intention of targeting the people of the southern governorates. He emphasized that their main objective is to confront the Saudi enemy and respond to their prolonged siege of Yemen. Al-Awlaki described the current conflict as a defensive battle against the Saudi forces, not an offensive one.

Al-Awlaki addressed the people of the southern governorates, urging them not to join the camps and mobilizations established by Saudi Arabia in occupied territories. He stressed the importance of preserving Yemeni blood and cautioned against defending foreign interests, specifically mentioning Mohammed bin Salman and Mohammed bin Zayed. He advocated for Yemeni unity in addressing internal issues without external interference.

He further criticized Saudi Arabia's historical actions, citing the Tanomah massacre of 1926, and expressed a desire for Saudi forces to leave Yemen. Al-Awlaki called on the people to consider alternative actions, such as remaining at home or joining the Yemeni Armed Forces to defend their homeland.

Lastly, Al-Awlaki referenced a recent attack on the Al-Alam camp in Shabwa, describing it as a response to Saudi recruitment efforts under the guise of the Tawheed Brigades. He asserted that these mobilizations are a sacrificial move by Saudi Arabia, urging Yemeni citizens to heed the calls of their revolutionary, political, and military leadership to protect the nation and its people.
