GPC and Allies Condemn Targeted Attacks on Yemeni Civilian Facilities

General

Sana'a: The General People's Congress and the parties of the National Democratic Alliance have issued a strong condemnation of the recent aggression by Zionist-American forces, which targeted several civilian facilities across Yemen. The attacks hit critical infrastructure including Sana'a Airport, Hodeida Port, cement factories, power stations, and nearby civilian residences in Sana'a, Hodeida, and Amran.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Congress and its allied parties highlighted that these facilities are the property of the Yemeni people. They emphasized that the attacks constitute a war crime, with the intention of besieging and starving the population of Yemen.

The statement from the Congress and its allies also accused the Zionist forces of violating Yemen's sovereignty and independence, pointing out that these actions are in clear breach of the United Nations Charter and international conventions and norms.

Furthermore, the statement reiterated the Yemeni people's right to defend their homeland, sovereignty, and independence using all possible and available means. This right, they argue, is supported by divine laws and international norms, thereby justifying any responsive measures taken by Yemen and its armed forces.
