Al-jabin: The local authority and mobilization office in Al-Jabin District of Raymah Governorate organized a speech event on Sunday to mark the anniversary of the passing of the eminent scholar, Sayyed Badr Al-Din Amir Al-Din Al-Houthi.

According to Yemen News Agency, speakers at the event described commemorating the occasion as an important educational milestone for recalling the lessons embodied by Al-Houthi, whose life represented a comprehensive school of faith, knowledge, and dedication. They stressed the importance of drawing inspiration from his legacy in supporting religion, defending holy sites, and championing the causes of the nation.

The speakers noted that the late scholar was among the most distinguished figures of Yemen's generation of religious scholars, whose contributions are irreplaceable. They described him as one of the leading Islamic scholars of the contemporary era who faced harassment, persecution, and pursuit despite his prominent scholarly status and influence.

The event also highlighted his extensive scholarly and social role in guiding and reforming society, helping shape its current position in upholding what participants described as the banner of truth and standing against oppression and arrogance.
