Taiz: The local authority in Taiz province honored the first batch of 107 graduates from the Martyr of the Qur’an Secondary School for Sharia Sciences 1446 AH on Saturday. This graduation marks a significant milestone for the institution dedicated to the teachings of the Qur’an and Sharia sciences.
According to Yemen News Agency, acting governor Ahmed al-Masawi highlighted the importance of this event, describing it as a qualitative addition to the province. He emphasized that the graduates are equipped with essential Qur’anic sciences and culture, which are vital for the advancement of the nation. Al-Masawi reiterated that adherence to the Holy Qur’an serves as a strong foundation and method for national progress.
During the ceremony, speakers including Adnan al-Sawai, Anwar al-Sagheer from the teaching staff, and graduate Abdulmalik al-Azzani underscored the importance of Islamic and Quranic knowledge. They stressed its necessity for correcting the nation’s reality and guiding its actions in accordance with the teachings of Allah. The speakers also urged parents to motivate their children to enroll in such educational institutions to become active participants in society, enriched with Quranic culture and Islamic sciences.
