Inspection of Al-Madhbah Bridge Restoration and Sana’a University Road Projects

Sana'a: Eng. Abdulkarim Al-Houthi, Deputy Secretary of the Capital Secretariat for Works and Projects, conducted an inspection of the ongoing restoration project of Al-Madhbah Bridge in Ma'een District. The project is backed financially by the local authority. According to Yemen News Agency, Eng. Al-Houthi was joined by Ma'een District Director Abdulmalik Al-Radhi and Works Sector Projects Director Eng. Ali Abu Al-Rijal. They assessed the current status of cutting, surveying, and foundation-laying activities on the deteriorated sections of the bridge, alongside evaluating the project's overall completion rate. The inspection further extended to the rehabilitation project of the main road at Sana'a University campus. This project is being executed by the Executive Unit for Road Construction and Maintenance of the Secretariat, with a budget of 103 million Yemeni riyals. The funding is a collaborative effort between Sana'a University and the Capital Secretariat, represented by the General Administration of Com munity Initiative Projects. Eng. Al-Houthi reaffirmed the commitment to ongoing restoration and maintenance efforts for roads damaged across different districts. These initiatives aim to rehabilitate and enhance the road and bridge network, supported by the local authority's funding.
