Hajjah: Cleanliness & Improvement Fund Holds Event to Commemorate Prophet’s Birthday

Hajjah: The Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in Hajjah Governorate organized a cultural event to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. During the event, Ismail Al-Muhaim, Secretary-General of the Local Council in the governorate, emphasized the importance of continuing preparatory activities with great momentum in anticipation of the grand central celebrations on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Muhaim asserted that commemorating the Prophet's birth reflects loyalty and reverence to the Messenger of Allah and serves as an expression of love, devotion, and steadfastness against aggression. He highlighted the profound spiritual value of the occasion and stressed the importance of wide participation in the central events to affirm commitment to the Prophet's path of supporting the oppressed and upholding values of justice, truth, and faith-particularly in light of ongoing aggression and blockade.

Deputy Governor Adel Farhan and Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Akhfash also attended the event. Al-Akhfash underscored the significance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday and reaffirming adherence to his example, including his virtues, humility, courage, Quranic guidance, and defense of the oppressed. He noted that the Yemeni people are engaged in a pivotal confrontation with global arrogance and its tools, drawing parallels to the Prophet's struggles against the Persians and Romans. Al-Akhfash stressed the need for continued mobilization, awareness, training, and preparation for direct confrontation with American and Israeli enemies in support of the causes of the Ummah, focusing on the Palestinian cause, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the martyrs in Gaza.

Hamzah Sharaf Al-Din, Executive Director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, affirmed that commemorating the Prophet's birth revives hearts, consciences, and responsibility across all fields of work. He highlighted the importance of this religious occasion in reaffirming adherence to the Prophet's path and following the divine course laid out in the Qur'an and through the Messenger. He added that celebrating the birth of the Messenger of Mercy reflects the deep-rooted bond Yemenis have with the Prophet and their unwavering support for him, citing the historic stance of the people of wisdom and faith in supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza.
