According to Yemen News Agency, these evenings were organized by residents of various districts including Ash-Shaghadrah and Al-Maghribah, the Al-Ilmiyah School in Shamsan, and other community groups in Bani Haydan, Ad-Dani'i, and Ash-Shamamah. Security forces and mobilization units also participated in organizing events in districts such as Qarah, Al-Amrur, and Madikhah.

The speeches during these events focused on the important roles and virtues of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), emphasizing his support for the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and the spread of Islam. The commemoration was seen as a chance to draw inspiration for steadfastness against adversaries of Islam and to show solidarity with oppressed communities in Palestine, Iran, and Lebanon.

The significance of the Day of Distinction, where believers were granted victory and truth was separated from falsehood, was a key highlight. The historical importance of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) was discussed, along with his connection to the people of wisdom and faith since their conversion to Islam. The events emphasized using the month of Ramadan to strengthen ties with Allah, the Holy Quran, the Prophet Muhammad, and Imam Ali.

The evenings were also marked as a spiritual milestone, encouraging participants to draw lessons for resilience and resolve against oppressive powers. The gatherings in Al-Shaghadra and Najra were attended by the Deputy Governor, Ahmed Al-Akhfash, and included district directors, religious scholars, and community leaders.
