Hajjah Commemorates Martyrdom of Imams Hussein and Zaid with Reflection on Sacrifice and Resistance

Hajjah: Hajjah branches of the General Corporation for Telecommunications and Information Technology and the General Postal Authority organized a commemoration event to mark the martyrdom of Imams Hussein and Zaid. During the event, Province Undersecretary Adel Shali highlighted the significance of learning from the sacrifices of Imams Hussein and Zaid, who stood to correct the Islamic nation's course and defend the faith.

According to Yemen News Agency, Undersecretary Shali elaborated on how Imam Hussein and his grandson, Imam Zaid, restored the true prophetic message of their forefathers, advocating for the oppressed. He noted that the events of Karbala and the Battle of al-Taff serve as crucial reminders for strengthening faith, Quranic culture, and resilience against tyranny and oppression.

Omar al-Hajjaji, director of the Hajjah branch of the Postal Authority, emphasized that the revolutions led by Imams Hussein and Zaid established resistance against injustice and corruption. He stressed the importance of commemorating Ashura and the anniversary of Imam Zaid's martyrdom as opportunities to draw lessons and to renew the connection to the values of sacrifice and steadfastness embodied by the imams.

Al-Hajjaji also highlighted the role of awareness and insight in confronting tyranny. He stated that the Yemeni people's suffering is due to their adherence to the Ahl al-Bayt's methodology and their refusal to yield to adversaries.

Cultural figure Bashir al-Madoumi discussed Imam Hussein's refusal to pledge allegiance to immoral forces and his dedication to maintaining the true path of the Prophet Muhammad's message. He addressed attempts by adversaries to detach the nation from its prophetic roots, aiming to eliminate the prophetic message and allow oppressors to dominate.
