Hajjah: Evening gatherings and celebratory events continued in the districts of Al-Shahil, Haradh, Afleh Al-Yaman, Kahlan Afar, Aslam, Qarah, Sharas, and Bani Al-Awam in Hajjah Governorate to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, in Al-Shahil District, residents of the Eastern and Western areas of Al-Amrour and Beit Al-Jabal held two evening gatherings attended by local, mobilization, social, and security figures. In Haradh District, displaced residents in Al-Khadish Al-Sharqi Camp in Abs organized a cultural evening attended by local authority and mobilization officials. Meanwhile, in Afleh Al-Yaman, the local authority and residents of Jiyah held two meetings as part of preparations for celebrating the Prophet's birthday, and residents of Bani Ya'mar held an evening gathering on the occasion.
Residents of Al-Duqaimi in Kahlan Afar also held a cultural evening, while residents of Al-Hudhn, along with the Youth and Sports Office branch in Aslam, organized an evening event. Kula Farwan School in Qarah hosted a cultural event attended by local authority and mobilization officials. In Sharas, residents of Upper Sharas held an event and a preparatory meeting for the Prophet's birthday, attended by local authority and mobilization officials.
Bani Al-Awam District witnessed two educational-sector events, three evening gatherings in Bani Al-Awam, Al-Sarabi, and Radman, and two meetings in Bani Al-Qadmi and Al-Arif. Speakers highlighted the significance of the Prophet's birthday in the hearts of Yemenis and the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birth in promoting the values of truth, goodness, and strengthening faith-based identity.
They also stressed the Yemeni people's enduring connection with Prophet Mohammed, their commitment to his path, and their rejection of efforts to separate the nation from the Prophet. The events emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birthday reflects gratitude for the divine blessing, pride in the final Prophet, his message, love, and spiritual attachment to him.
The speakers further underscored the Prophet's mission to perfect noble character and recalled the role of Yemenis in supporting the Prophet and spreading Islam since its early days. They stressed the importance of making participation in the celebrations distinguished and dignified, describing it as a message to the world affirming Yemenis' adherence to the Prophet, reverence for him, and commitment to following his example in supporting the oppressed and vulnerable.
