Hajjah: Hajjah Education Sector organized a cultural event on Tuesday commemorating the martyrdom of Imams Hussein and Zayd (peace be upon them). During the event, province undersecretary Adel Shali emphasized the importance of commemorating the martyrdom of Imams Hussein and Zayd (peace be upon them) to draw lessons and inspiration from their sacrifices and struggle in the path of God.
According to Yemen News Agency, Shali pointed to the necessity of emulating the morals and virtues of Imams Hussein and Zayd (peace be upon them) and following their path of faith and struggle in order to raise the banner of Islam and support the oppressed. He explained that Imams Hussein and Zayd (peace be upon them) rose up to correct the course of the nation from the deviation of Yazid and the deviation of Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik, and to confront tyrants and oppressors out of a sense of religious and humanitarian responsibility.
At the event, which was attended by the Director of the Civil Service Bureau, Dahyan al-Qadi, the head of the education sector in the governorate, Ali al-Qutaib, stated that commemorating the martyrdom of Imams Hussein and Zayd (peace be upon them) represents a renewal of the values of truth and justice that they embodied in their revolutions. He explained that Imams Hussein and Zaid (peace be upon them) stood against injustice and tyranny to solidify the meanings of dignity and freedom, emphasizing the nation's need to accurately and precisely evaluate history and current events and to follow the path of Hussein and Zayd (peace be upon them).
Al-Qutaib urged the inculcation of the culture of jihad and martyrdom in the hearts of future generations and the introduction of the inspiring revolutions of Hussein and Zaid (peace be upon them) to all freedom-loving people worldwide.
