Hajjah: The Yemeni Gas Company and the Yemeni Standardization, Metrology, and Quality Control Authority conducted a field inspection in Hajjah governorate to monitor gas stations and pumps.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the inspection in the city center, Hajjah undersecretary Adel Shali praised the efforts of the gas company and the authority in ensuring the availability of gas and maintaining compliance with specifications and standards. He emphasized the local authority's support for the efforts aimed at safeguarding citizens and ensuring safety standards.
Ali al-Hajjaji, director of the authority's branch in Hajjah, stated that the inspection aimed to calibrate the weighing devices in the markets and gas stations to protect consumers from fraud and manipulation of weights and measures, while ensuring accountability for violators. Abdulmalik al-Jalal, director of the gas company's branch in the governorate, highlighted that the inspection was intended to monitor gas stations and pumps to prevent fraud and ensure proper measurements.
He reassured that the company is committed to providing citizens with gas and stabilizing supply while considering the economic conditions of the community.
