Hajjah Governorate Initiates Preparations for Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday Celebration

Hajjah: Hajjah Governorate has commenced the preparatory activities for the celebration of the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's birthday, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. During the launch event, Secretary-General of the Local Council in the governorate, Ismail Al-Muhaim, outlined the initiatives undertaken by executive offices, their branches, institutions, authorities, and local councils to celebrate this significant religious occasion.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Muhaim emphasized that Yemenis are commemorating the Prophet's Birthday amidst their ongoing support for their brothers in Gaza, who are facing severe humanitarian challenges. He highlighted Yemen's dedication in standing with the oppressed, portraying it as a reflection of the Muhammadan path and an exemplification of the Prophet's teachings in defending the oppressed and supporting Islam.

The event also featured prominent officials such as the Governorate's Mobilization Official Hamoud Al-Maghribi, Deputy Governors Mohammed Al-Qadi, Sadiq Al-Adba'i, Adel Shali, and President of Hajjah University Dr. Mohammed Al-Khaled. Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Akhfash delivered remarks on the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birth, encouraging reflection on his life and reinforcing the bond with him.

Al-Akhfash noted the historical connection of Yemenis with the Prophet, describing the celebrations as an opportunity to enhance Islamic identity, promote Quranic culture, and renew loyalty to the message of mercy. He stressed the importance of embodying the Prophet's principles and supporting the Palestinian cause in Gaza.
