Al-Sabeen District Launches Cultural Event Over Prophet’s Birthday Celebrations

Sana'a: The General Mobilization Department in the al-Sabeen district in the Capital Sana'a organized a cultural event to inaugurate activities marking the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth for the year 1447 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, First Deputy Prime Minister scholar Mohammed Miftah stated that the commemoration represents the greatest expression of the Yemeni people's love and attachment to the Prophet. It is also a manifestation of their loyalty by following his path in confronting tyranny and supporting the oppressed.

Miftah explained that this occasion is an expression of gratitude to God for the mission of the noble Prophet to guide, purify, and teach humanity the Book and wisdom. He emphasized that celebrating the Prophet's birthday is a practical call for the nation to follow his example in word and deed, applying his values, ethics, and principles in daily life.

He added that the widespread engagement with the anniversary reflects obedience to God's command to honor and revere His Messenger. It also represents a renewal of the pledge to walk in his footsteps. Miftah urged active participation in various events and the cleanliness campaign as an expression of joy over this central occasion in the nation's collective consciousness.
