Hajjah: The local authority, mobilization committees, and security agencies in Hajjah governorate on Thursday launched the 12th phase of the open military training courses known as "Al-Aqsa Flood," aimed at maintaining readiness and preparedness for upcoming developments and potential escalations.
According to Yemen News Agency, the launch ceremony was attended by Hajjah Governor Hilal al-Sufi, Deputy Minister of Health and Environment Dr. Nasher Al-Qaoud, and Mobilization Official Hammoud al-Maghribi. During the event, Chairman of the Board of the Yemeni News Agency Saba and Editor-in-Chief Nasr al-Din Amer praised the strong turnout of Hajjah residents in response to calls to join the new phases of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" training courses.
Amer emphasized the importance of continuing mobilization efforts and maintaining a high level of preparedness for future developments, stressing the need for ongoing public participation in the training programs. For his part, Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Akhfash noted that the launch of the 12th phase coincides with the beginning of the Islamic year 1448 AH, highlighting the importance of drawing lessons of resilience, determination, and steadfastness in confronting challenges.
Jamal Al-Alawi, Director of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration and Rural Development, stated that the people of Hajjah remain ready to contribute to national efforts and noted that more than 130,000 participants from the governorate had completed previous phases of the training courses.
A statement issued at the launch ceremony, delivered by Deputy Mobilization Official Abdullah Shaim, called for continued enrollment in the open military training courses and for raising the level of preparedness. The statement also stressed the importance of strengthening social solidarity, community cooperation, and collective efforts to address the challenges facing the country. The statement further urged parents to enroll their children in schools and highlighted the importance of supporting community initiatives, including water projects, local development efforts, and assistance to vulnerable groups, alongside broader efforts to enhance social cohesion and community resilience.
