Hajjah Launches Events Marking Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Hajjah: Local authorities and the Mobilization Authority in Hajjah governorate on Saturday launched activities marking the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad. At the opening ceremony, Governor Hilal Al-Soufi stressed the importance of commemorating the occasion as an expression of love and devotion to the Prophet, describing his birth as a turning point that guided humanity from darkness to light.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Al-Soufi called for reviving the occasion by following the Prophet's teachings, values, and example. He reaffirmed loyalty to God, His Messenger, and the Prophet's family, while emphasizing obedience to Allah and His Messenger.

Speaking at the event, attended by senior local officials and Hajjah University President Dr. Taha Al-Hamzi, Deputy Mobilization Official Abdullah Shayem highlighted the Prophet's message, which calls on Muslims to uphold noble morals, values, and principles. He noted that the current challenges facing the Muslim nation require closer adherence to the Prophet's example in conduct, sacrifice, and steadfastness.

Shayem further stressed that celebrations across Hajjah's districts and villages reflect deep-rooted faith and attachment to the Prophet while promoting awareness of his life and teachings.
