Hajjah: Hajjah branch of the Disabled Care and Rehabilitation Fund on Tuesday inaugurated the fifth phase of its project to distribute assistive and medical devices for people with disabilities, marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) under the slogan 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the phase included distributing wheelchairs, beds, bath chairs, mattresses, and medical cushions to 400 beneficiaries across the governorate, with previous phases having assisted over 1,000 people.
Officials and fund representatives emphasized the importance of community and civil society support to sustain these services and expand aid to as many people with disabilities as possible amid the ongoing challenges caused by the aggression and blockade.
