Hajjah:The local authority in Hajjah Governorate has strongly condemned an attack by Saudi forces targeting civilian homes in Bakil Al Mir District, resulting in the death of a woman and injury to a girl.
According to Yemen News Agency, the local authority described the Saudi attack on civilian homes in the Azman area as a fully fledged war crime and a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws and conventions.
The statement from the local authority emphasized that the ongoing targeting of civilians, particularly women and children, demonstrates the aggressor's increasing hatred and desperation, indicating a deliberate intent to cause maximum casualties among civilians. The authority held Saudi Arabia fully responsible for the attack and its repercussions, urging the international community, the United Nations, and humanitarian organizations to condemn such crimes and apply pressure to stop further attacks on civilians.
The local authority further asserted that these crimes would not deter the people of the governorate from continuing their struggle in the cause of Allah, defending their land, honor, and national sovereignty. Instead, they would bolster their resolve, determination, and conviction in the justness of their cause, reinforcing the steadfastness and resilience of the people of wisdom and faith.
