Sana'a: The Anti-Narcotics Department of Hajjah Security organized an awareness event on the International Day Against Drug Abuse, attended by local and security officials. The event highlighted security efforts in combating drugs and stressed the dangers of smuggling and trafficking on societal and family security.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event underscored that drug crimes are part of the enemy's soft war against faith identity and Quranic culture. Total seizures over the past year reached 167,149 narcotic pills, 334 kg of hashish, 46 grams of shabu, and 50 diazepam ampoules, with 79 suspects implicated.
