Hajjah: A meeting chaired by Hajjah governor Hilal al-Sufi on Saturday reviewed the situation of the Republican Hospital Authority, focusing on the healthcare services it provides to poor and vulnerable residents and discussing measures to address operational challenges.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting brought together Deputy Governor Mohammed al-Qadi, Head of the Republican Hospital Authority Dr. Ibrahim al-Ashwal, and Health Office Director Dr. Ahmed al-Kahlani, along with several local officials. Participants reviewed the health services offered by the Authority to poor and needy patients and examined the difficulties affecting its operations, as well as potential solutions to enhance service delivery.
Also attending were Finance Office Director Yahya al-Wazzan, Head of the Planning Sector Dr. Abdulrahman al-Malhani, Head of the Guidance Sector Allama Hussein Jahaf, and Media Office Director Ibrahim Hashim. The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening coordination with the General Authority for Zakat to support the hospital's efforts in providing healthcare services to disadvantaged groups. Participants also highlighted the need to coordinate with the branch of the General Authority for Water Resources to secure approval for deepening the hospital's well to improve water availability.
Attendees commended the Republican Hospital Authority for continuing to provide services to poor and needy citizens and the families of martyrs despite limited resources. They stressed the importance of providing further support to ensure the continuity and sustainability of the Authority's healthcare services.
