Hajjah Organizes Football Tournaments to Celebrate Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Hajjah: Football tournaments marking the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) got underway across several districts of Hajjah governorate, featuring opening matches, tournament draws, and qualification rounds.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Prophet's Birthday Football Tournament, organized by the local branch of the Youth and Sports Office in Hajjah governorate, kicked off in Al-Shaghaderah district under the supervision of the governorate's Youth and Sports Office. Group A includes Al-Tadhamon, Al-Wahda, Al-Rashid, and Al-Fath, while Group B comprises Al-Shabab, Al-Jeel, Al-Jawareh, and Al-Yarmouk. In the opening fixtures, Al-Fath and Al-Wahda played to a 2-2 draw, while Al-Tadhamon defeated Al-Rashid 2-0.

In Aflah Al-Sham District, the draw for the Prophet's Birthday tournament was held, with participating teams divided into two groups. The first group includes Al-Rasoul Al-A'zam, Al-Suqour, and Al-Shaheed Al-Ghamari, while the second group consists of Al-Sumoud, Al-Shaheed Al-Samad, and Al-Wahda.

In Hajjah city, Al-Shaheed Abu Abdel advanced to the tournament final after defeating Al-Tahadi 8-0. The second finalist will be determined in tomorrow's match between Al-Hilal Al-Ahmar and Gaza.

Meanwhile, in A'ham District of Kushar, Ittihad Al-Souq secured a 3-0 victory over Mati in the Prophet's Birthday tournament. In Khairan Al-Muharraq district, the first-round Group B match between Shabab Al-Dana'i and Ittihad Bani Hamla ended in a scoreless draw.
