Hajjah: Al-Hikmah Al-Yamaniyah School in Hajjah city, along with several other schools across the governorate's districts, organized events on Saturday to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, the events were attended by educational, religious, local, and social figures, who highlighted the Prophet's birth as a pivotal moment in human history. This occasion marks the transition from idol worship to the worship of the One God.
Speakers at the events emphasized that commemorating this occasion reflects devotion and reverence for the Prophet Muhammad. They recalled his noble life and efforts to uphold the word of Allah, while confronting forces of polytheism and hypocrisy.
The significance of commemorating the birth of the Prophet, known as the Prophet of Mercy, was also addressed. The speakers highlighted how this occasion provides an opportunity to draw lessons from his exemplary life and conduct.
Furthermore, it was noted that celebrating the Prophet's birth serves as a unifying occasion for Muslims. It renews allegiance to Allah and His Messenger, unites Muslims around a common path, and strengthens Muhammadan values within society.
