College of Computing at Ibb University Hosts Event for Prophet’s Birthday and New Student Welcome

Muscat: The College of Computing and Applied Sciences and the Student Forum at Ibb University organized a speech event today on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday and to welcome new students for the academic year 1448 AH. University Vice President Dr. Ahmed Abu Lohum emphasized the importance of student participation in events to strengthen faith-based values and cultural identity, and to build a conscious generation capable of facing challenges, calling for adherence to regulations and optimal utilization of educational resources.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dean of the College Dr. Munir Al-Sarouri welcomed the new students, explaining that the academic process has begun according to the university calendar, alongside the maintenance of halls and labs and the opening of new programs that align with labor market needs, pointing out the college's ongoing commitment to improving educational outcomes. Secretary-General of the Student Forum Mohammed Al-Kabsi reviewed the scheduled events for the occasion and highlighted the importance of student participation in cultural programs to develop talents and foster teamwork.

The event included cultural and choral segments, honoring the Dean of the College with a shield from the Forum, and honoring the Forum's leadership with a shield from the College.
