Hajjah: Hajjah University organized on Wednesday a seminar titled "The Academic and Educational Role in Promoting al-Sarkha Against the Arrogant' and Confronting Arrogance." The seminar, attended by University Rector Dr. Taha al-Hamzi and senior university officials, discussed three main topics highlighting the Quranic, intellectual, and practical aspects of the "Cry" and its role in resisting hegemonic projects.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Abdullah al-Ghayli, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Humanities, addressed the legitimacy of the "Cry" in the Quran, noting the challenges and criticisms it faced, particularly from America and Israel, and how it has spread worldwide.
Dr. Abdulaziz al-Wurqi, in the second session, explored the concept of arrogance in the Quran, citing examples such as Iblis, Pharaoh, and the people of Noah, Aad, Thamud, and Israel, emphasizing the various forms of arrogance-ideological, political, social, and religious.
Dr. Youssef al-Sabah, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, discussed the "Cry's" role in raising local and global awareness of Zionism, linking it to Quranic principles that challenge Zionist ideologies and expose their actions. He highlighted al-Sarkha as an enlightening project that fosters national sovereignty and resilience against foreign aggression.
