Half Ton of Fish Unfit for Human Consumption Confiscated in Surprise Inspection

Sana'a: The field inspection and control team of the Fisheries Sector of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources confiscated half a ton of fish unfit for human consumption.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Director of Follow-up in the Fisheries Sector, Mohammed Hamid al-Din, explained that the seizure and destruction of the quantity came as part of a surprise inspection campaign. This operation was carried out by the sector's specialized team at the al-Balili fish market, in collaboration with a number of fish market inspectors affiliated with the sector.
