Hamdan District Commemorates Religious Scholar Badr al-Din al-Houthi

Hamdan: Local authorities and the mobilization committee in the Hamdan district of Sana'a governorate organized a commemorative event on Wednesday to mark the anniversary of the passing of esteemed religious scholar Badr al-Din al-Houthi.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event saw attendance from district officials, security leaders, and community representatives, all of whom emphasized the scholar's significant contributions to religious education and public life.

Speakers at the event described it as an opportunity to reflect on al-Houthi's enduring legacy and the crucial role that religious scholars play in serving society. They highlighted the importance of promoting awareness and preserving cultural and religious identity, tasks to which al-Houthi was deeply committed.

Participants also took the opportunity to review key aspects of Badr al-Din al-Houthi's life, particularly his efforts in teaching Islamic sciences.
