Hamdan District Hosts Cultural Events to Honor Prophet’s Birthday

Sana'a: A cultural event was organized in the village of Lulua in the Hamdan district of Sana'a Governorate to commemorate the Prophet's birthday, with the participation of the Presidential Committee. At the event, attended by the head of the Defense and Security Affairs Department at the Presidential Office, Colonel Ibrahim Al-Amri, the head of the Legal Affairs Department at the office, Dr. Abdulrahman Margham, emphasized the importance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday, spreading the fragrant biography of the Noble Messenger, and drawing lessons from it.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Margham highlighted the role of Yemenis from the dawn of Islam to the present day in supporting the Islamic faith and their adherence to the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace, and his family. Dr. Margham pointed out that the people of Hamdan's keenness to celebrate the Prophet's birthday demonstrates the extent of their loyalty, love, and connection to the Greatest Messenger, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him and his family. He said, "This is not surprising for those whose ancestors willingly responded to the call to Islam, and the Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him and his family, prostrated in gratitude to Allah when he learned of their conversion to Islam."

Speeches and a poem were also delivered, expressing the significance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday and its impact in strengthening the connection to the Noble Messenger and emulating his example.

A cultural event was held in the village of Al-Muammar in the Hamdan Directorate, during which Tawfiq Abu Hadi, Head of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department at the Presidential Office, emphasized that the interest in celebrating the Prophet's birthday, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him and his family, is not surprising from the Hamdan tribes, who are characterized by manliness, loyalty, and support for Allah and His Messenger, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him and his family.

He called for mobilization and honorable participation in the central event in Al-Sab'een Square, in a manner befitting the role of the Hamdan tribe in supporting Islam.

The event, which was attended by the Deputy Head of the Department of the Director of the Office of the President of the Republic, Dhaif Allah Abu Tahiya, and the Director General of the Water Corporation in the Governorate, Ali Al-Dhaib, also delivered speeches affirming the people of Hamdan's connection to the Great Messenger and their keenness to participate and mobilize for the celebratory events and cultural activities in preparation for holding the central event in Al-Sabeen Square.
