Taiziya District Hosts Cultural Celebration for Prophet Muhammad’s Birth

Sana'a: The people of the Western Square and the leadership of the Third Security Zone in the Taiziya District of Taiz Governorate organized a cultural and rhetorical evening to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, may the best prayers and peace be upon him and his family. The event took place in the Ramada area of the Al-Rabi'i district, with notable attendees including Shura Council member Mansour Saddam, the governorate's General Mobilization Officer Mohammed Al-Khalidi, and deputies Jalal Al-Subaihi and Noman Al-Hamri.

According to Yemen News Agency, Shura Council member Salah Bajash stressed the significance of the event as a moment to draw from Muhammadan guidance and remember the values conveyed by the Prophet. He highlighted the renewal of believers' loyalty to the Messenger of Allah, emphasizing adherence to his teachings in various life aspects. Hussam Al-Fatesh, Director General of the Executive Unit for Road Construction and Maintenance, expressed that the celebration reflects Yemenis' deep connection to the Prophet and their commitment to his teachings, noting society's participation in these events as a comprehensive school of values like mercy, tolerance, justice, and solidarity.

The event featured speeches that portrayed the Prophet's birthday as an annual opportunity to strengthen faith identity and renew commitment to the principles of Islam and the life of the Prophet. Speakers emphasized the importance of learning from the Prophet's life to face challenges targeting Islamic values and principles. They pointed out that the Quranic project serves as a safeguard for the dignity and independence of the Islamic nation.

The gathering, attended by district director Abdulkhaliq Al-Junaid, social unit heads, scholars, military, and security leaders, included the recitation of poems and songs, underlining Taiz's enthusiasm for participating in this spiritually significant occasion.
