Sana'a: Residents of the Al-Sawad neighborhood in the New Sana'a District in Sana'a Governorate organized a cultural and rhetorical evening to celebrate the Prophet's birthday, may the best prayers and peace be upon him.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by notable figures including Shura Council member Musleh Abu Sha'ar, Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Qaid and Health Dr. Najib Al-Qabati, as well as Directors of Neighborhood Affairs Ahmed Rajeh and Human Rights Ghaleb Al-Bahloli. Engineer Ammar Naji, the director of the Public Works Sector in the district, emphasized the importance of this celebration as a means to honor the virtues, values, and struggles of the Holy Prophet.
The gathering also served as a platform to commend the community's efforts in celebrating religious occasions, which play a crucial role in strengthening national unity and instilling authentic values. Recognition was given to elders and social figures for their contributions to the events celebrating the Prophet's birthday.
Activist Sharaf Al-Faran called upon attendees to follow the prophetic example set by the nation's leader and to rally around Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, supporting the causes and sanctities of the Islamic nation, with a particular focus on the Palestinian cause. Al-Faran also praised the resilience of the Yemeni Armed Forces in their support of the Palestinian people in Gaza amidst ongoing genocide and starvation, highlighting the neglect by some Arab states.
Throughout the evening, speeches were delivered that underscored the importance of celebrating the birth anniversary of Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers. The speeches highlighted the humane and moral values brought by the noble Messenger and the significance of emulating his approach in all aspects of life.
The event, attended by various social figures and neighborhood leaders, featured hymns and poems that expressed the significance of the occasion.
