Handover of Construction Site for New Classrooms at Al-Ja’ra School in Al-Tayal District

Sana'a: The General Directorate of Community Initiatives in Sana'a Governorate and the Local Council of Al-Tayal District handed over on Wednesday the site for the project to add four classrooms at Al-Ja'ra School to the implementing party, the Eastern Sector Cooperative Agricultural Association.

According to Yemen News Agency, the total cost of the project is 28,273,000 Yemeni riyals. The governorate's local council, through the General Directorate of Community Initiatives, contributed 21,359,000 riyals. The remaining 6,913,000 riyals were contributed by the local community benefiting from the project.

During the handover, the Directors of Initiatives, Engineer Mohammed Al-Nazari, and the district director, Hilal Mu'ayyad, explained that the project includes constructing four additional classrooms along with a staircase and administrative offices to accommodate the growing number of students.

They praised the community's engagement and the role of the community committee in implementing the project and appreciated the governorate leadership's support, noting that the project will be a significant addition to developing the educational infrastructure in the governorate.

Al-Nazari and Mu'ayyad urged the implementing party to intensify their efforts to complete the project according to the technical specifications, budget, and the scheduled timeframe.
