Sana'a: The head of the Customs Authority, Engineer Adel Margham, conducted an inspection visit today to the Authority's headquarters and the People's Committee for Vehicle Registration in Sana'a, marking the first day of official work.
According to Yemen News Agency, Margham visited the Authority's headquarters and the People's Committee for Vehicle Registration to monitor work progress and evaluate the performance of the general departments. During his visit, Margham emphasized the critical role played by customs employees and recognized the significant transformations in customs procedures, along with the efforts of staff at customs offices and centers who work to facilitate procedures for citizens.
He called for intensified efforts and underscored the responsibility of preventing the entry of smuggled goods, highlighting Customs as the country's first line of defense. Employees and general managers expressed their gratitude for the leadership's commitment to developing customs work and enhancing performance.
