Sana'a: Dr. Amin Qubas, Head of the Supreme Authority for Medicines and Medical Supplies, inspected the operations at the National Drug Control Laboratory, which is affiliated with the Authority, today. Dr. Qubas listened to a briefing from laboratory staff regarding the laboratory's needs to increase its production capacity, the difficulties it faces, and ways to address them.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Head of the Authority stressed the importance of acting responsibly and professionally, free from any influences that do not serve the pharmaceutical market. He emphasized the need to focus on drug security and to modernize work mechanisms to prevent exploitation of the current circumstances in the country and to control any counterfeit, substandard, or harmful drugs.
Dr. Qubas commended the efforts of the leadership and staff of the National Drug Control Laboratory in achieving drug quality and efficacy, which ultimately benefits patients.
