Sanaa: Students of summer courses in Al-Wahda District, the Capital Secretariat, organized on Sunday a scout march and a mass stand marking the 1447 AH anniversary of 'Al-Sarkah,' under the slogan: 'Al-Sarkah against the arrogant. a weapon and a stance.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the participating students, accompanied by the district director Sami Humayd along with local, executive, educational, and community figures, marched through several streets reaching Al-Ruwaishan roundabout, raising the summer courses' slogan: 'Knowledge and Jihad.' The district director, Humayd, considered the commemoration of 'Al-Sarkah' an affirmation of disavowal from the enemies of Allah and a stand against plots targeting the nation and its Qur'anic renaissance project.
He renewed commitment to following the path of the late leader, strengthening societal awareness, adhering to the Qur'anic project, and confronting current challenges with a spirit of faith and struggle, pointing to the slogan's meanings and its role in confronting the enemies of the nation. Humayd affirmed that the slogan has proven effective in reality against arrogant powers and represents a psychological and faith-based stance that embodies commitment to the Qur'anic project.
The director of Al-Wahda Educational Zone, Mulatif Al-Mutairi, stated that 'Al-Sarkah' moved the nation from silence and submission to the United States and its allies into declaring disavowal of enemies and making sacrifices in defense of land, honor, and sovereignty. He explained that the late leader, through his movement and the raising of the 'Al-Sarkah' slogan, returned the nation to its correct path, standing against domination and arrogance projects, and confronting tyrants and oppressors.
In a statement issued by the stand, participants renewed their pledge of loyalty to the late leader and to the leader of the Qur'anic movement, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirming that they continue on the path of Hussein, remain committed to the Qur'anic project and the path of the martyrs. The statement announced the readiness of the rising generation of the Holy Qur'an to confront the enemies of God with high preparedness, a firm faith identity, Qur'anic culture, and a spirit of struggle, in support of truth and the oppressed against what it described as 'the Jews and Christians' and in frustration of the plans of modern-day tyrants, America and Israel.
It also reaffirmed commitment to the official and popular stance supporting Gaza, Palestine, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the Axis of Resistance, as part of religious affiliation to Allah Almighty, His Book, His Messenger, and the duty of jihad in His cause. The statement called for continuing awareness-raising activities against the Israeli and American adversary, including events, stands, economic boycott campaigns targeting American and Israeli goods and companies supporting them.
It also urged parents to enroll their children in summer schools to benefit from the vacation period by learning the Holy Qur'an, acquiring knowledge and skills, developing their abilities, strengthening religious values and identity, and protecting them from misleading cultural influences.
