Sana'a: Deputy Chief of the General Staff and Head of the National Team for the Redeployment Coordination Committee Major General Ali al-Mushki met on Monday in the capital Sana'a with Military Advisor to the Special Envoy to Yemen and Head of the Redeployment Coordination Committee, in the presence of members of the National Team and the Director of the UN Envoy's Office, Mohammed al-Ghannam.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting focused on the work plan of the UN Envoy's Office, particularly following the transfer of the Hodeidah mission's responsibilities to the UN Envoy's Office. Major General al-Mushki expressed concerns about the delayed implementation of the new mechanism's work plan. He highlighted that mercenaries have long boycotted the committee's efforts and continue their military escalation, threatening stability and expanding violations.

Al-Mushki criticized the United Nations for its indifference towards Sana'a, accusing it of not honoring commitments under the Stockholm Agreement. These commitments include lifting port blockades, allowing free ship passage, rehabilitating ports, transferring the UNVIM team from Djibouti to Hodeidah, and rehabilitating service sectors in Hodeidah as per the Hodeidah Agreement's outcomes.

He also conveyed concerns to the military advisor regarding the Zionist presence in Somaliland, describing it as a threat and military action against Yemen and the region. Al-Mushki warned of potential regional conflict and negative impacts on maritime security in the Red and Arabian Seas.
