Sanaa: The Health and Environment Office in the Capital S organized a cultural event today to commemorate the Prophet's birthday, attended by Shura Council member Zaid Al-Riyami and health sector leaders.
According to Yemen News Agency, Office Director Dr. Mutahar Al-Marouni emphasized that the commemoration reflects Yemenis' love for the Prophet and their commitment to following his path in confronting tyranny. He highlighted the health sector's provision of significant services despite ongoing challenges, including offering discounts during the celebration days and urging active participation in the occasion's events.
Dr. Adel Al-Qarumani praised the health staff's engagement, viewing the commemoration as a testament to their awareness of its significance. He called for the celebration to be marked with joy and mobilization for the major event, while also criticizing the stance of the "Saudi kingdom of evil" for prohibiting the celebration but allowing other activities deemed inappropriate.
The event featured an operetta by the "Greatest Messenger" troupe and segments showcasing folk heritage.
