Sana'a: A meeting held today in Sana'a, chaired by the Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Ali Shaiban, discussed the performance of health offices in the governorates and ways to improve their services.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Deputy Ministers Dr. Abdulmalik Al-San'ani and Dr. Essam Al-Rumaimah, along with directors of the health offices in the governorates via video conference. It reviewed the difficulties and challenges facing the health sector and explored strategies to address them to enhance medical and health services.
During the meeting, Dr. Shaiban emphasized the need to raise the level of performance, improve services, and strengthen oversight, supervision, and follow-up. He stressed the importance of everyone feeling a sense of responsibility in strengthening the role of the health sector in addressing challenges.
Dr. Shaiban pointed out the necessity for the directors of the offices to submit monthly reports to address problems promptly. He also highlighted the importance of concerted efforts to address shortcomings in the tasks of the health offices and improve services in various health facilities.
