Sanaa:The Ministry of Health and Environment held a ceremony on Sunday to commemorate the annual Martyr's Day 1448 AH. The event was attended by Deputy Parliament Speaker Abdul Salam Hashoul and other senior officials.
According to Yemen News Agency, Health Minister Dr. Ali Shaiban emphasized the significant contributions and sacrifices of the martyrs, underlining the necessity of drawing lessons from their lives and supporting their families in acknowledgment of their service to Yemen.
Cultural activist Yahya Abu Awadha also spoke at the event, discussing the Quranic project initiated by the late leader. He noted that the sacrifices made by the martyrs have been instrumental in achieving freedom, independence, and dignity for the nation.
Additionally, a representative of the martyrs' families described the occasion as a chance to renew commitment and draw inspiration from the sacrifices made by the martyrs.
