Sana'a: The Ministry of Health and Environment has called upon all government and private hospitals to admit and treat individuals wounded by recent US airstrikes in the country. The ministry emphasized the importance of taking all necessary measures to provide care for the injured.
According to Yemen News Agency, the ministry issued a statement in response to reports on social media that some private hospitals were refusing to treat those injured in the US attacks. These airstrikes targeted a building in a residential neighborhood in the Asr area of the Ma'in District in Sana'a.
In light of these reports, the ministry has appointed a committee to urgently investigate the situation. The findings will guide any actions taken against hospitals that fail to comply with the directive to treat the wounded.
The Ministry of Health is actively monitoring the situation to ensure all patients receive adequate medical care in both government and private facilities. It stressed that offering first aid is not only a national duty but also a moral and humanitarian obligation that must not be neglected or postponed. The ministry warned that appropriate actions would be taken against anyone who violates these orders.
