Health Office in Hajjah Implements Health Awareness Programs for Summer Course Students

Hajjah: The Health and Environment Office in Hajjah province and its branches organized health awareness programs on Saturday for students participating in summer courses at the governorate center and its directorates.

According to Yemen News Agency, Director of the Health and Environment Office, Dr. Ahmed al-Kuhlani, stated that these programs aim to enhance societal awareness among students about the significance of both personal and public hygiene for individuals and the community.

Dr. al-Kuhlani highlighted that the health awareness programs cover a range of topics, including the prevention of infectious diseases and waterborne diarrhea. They also address methods to combat dengue and malaria, outline preventative measures, and emphasize the role of the community in supporting the Health Office's efforts in these areas.

Additionally, Dr. al-Kuhlani pointed out that these health activities are integrated into the summer course programs, which also offer training workshops for students in first aid and the provision of medical supplies and medicines.
