Health Sector Meeting in Sana’a’s Al-Wahdah District Marks Prophet’s Birthday

Al-wahdah district: In the Capital Sana'a, a consultative meeting was organized on Monday for directors of hospitals and medical centers in the district to commemorate the upcoming anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's birthday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor for Social Development, Dr. Ghassan Al-Madani, highlighted the significance of this occasion. He emphasized the historical relationship between Yemenis and Prophet Muhammad and the importance of following his example. Dr. Al-Madani stressed broad participation in activities marking the religious occasion and the strengthening of charitable work and social solidarity.

Dr. Al-Madani praised the combined efforts in Al-Wahdah District to honor the Prophet's birthday, affirming the continued mobilization and preparedness to face current challenges. District Director Sami Humaid also emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday, calling for unity within the Islamic nation. He urged hospitals and medical centers to initiate charitable and community-service projects.

Humaid further called for strengthening compassion, social solidarity, and maintaining cleanliness to enhance the district's appearance during the celebrations. Abdullah Al-Dhuraifi, the district's mobilization official, and cultural activist Hussein Al-Jubain spoke about key stages of the Prophet's life, his courage, struggles, and the principles of his enduring message.

They highlighted the commemoration of the Prophet's birthday as an opportunity to remind people of his teachings and to renew love, loyalty, and commitment to his path. Dr. Abdul Mawla Al-Thawr, Director of the Al-Wahdah District Health Office, stated that the Prophet's birthday is a cherished occasion for Yemenis that embodies their attachment to the Prophet and strengthens resilience against adversaries. He acknowledged the efforts and participation of all involved in preparing for the event.
