Hodeidah:Hodeidah Governorate witnessed mass rallies across its center and districts on Friday, where participants reaffirmed their continued mobilization and support for the armed forces and battlefronts. They emphasized their commitment to martyrs, vowing to continue their struggle until achieving freedom, independence, and the full restoration of Yemeni rights.
According to Yemen News Agency, the participants chanted slogans expressing their readiness to join the battlefronts alongside the armed forces, make sacrifices to break the siege, reclaim national rights, and end what they described as 12 years of Saudi occupation and aggression.
Hodeidah residents called on people in the southern and eastern governorates to stand alongside the armed forces against Saudi military mobilization, reject foreign domination and partition schemes, and defend Yemen's unity, sovereignty, and independence. A statement from the rallies, held under the Quranic verse "They did not change [their commitment] in the least," affirmed the Yemeni people's resolve to continue their struggle against what they described as the tyrants of the age, particularly the United States, Israel, Britain, and the Saudi regime.
The statement accused the Saudi regime of using the Arabian Peninsula's vast wealth to serve the enemies of Islam, finance wars, kill civilians, occupy countries, plunder resources, and fuel sectarian conflicts. Comparing the Saudi regime to Qarun, the statement expressed hope for its downfall, highlighting the commitment of the Yemeni people to defend their freedom, independence, and holy sites despite challenges.
The statement also declared that general mobilization would continue at all levels to support the battlefronts and armed forces, renewing the pledge to the martyrs to remain committed to their path until Yemen achieves full freedom, independence, and reclaims its rights and resources. It reaffirmed Yemen's principled stance on challenges facing the Muslim nation, particularly the Palestinian cause.
Furthermore, the statement urged Arab and Muslim peoples to remain vigilant against what it called Saudi propaganda and false allegations, categorically rejecting claims that Yemen targets holy sites, and emphasizing that Mecca and Medina are worthy of every sacrifice. It condemned those collaborating with the Saudi enemy for financial gain and praised those who had spoken out against its alleged falsehoods and propaganda.
The statement called on people in the southern governorates to unite with the armed forces, noting that their operations target only Saudi-backed military mobilizations led by Saudi officers. It also commended residents of Taiz for their historic and honorable positions in supporting the army and expelling what it described as Saudi-backed militias from their areas. Additionally, the statement dismissed Saudi claims that Taiz city was under siege as false, asserting that there was no blockade and that food supplies and humanitarian necessities could enter freely for everyone without exception.
