Hodeida Distributes Gifts to Families of Civilian Martyrs Marking National Resilience Day

Hodeida: Authorities in Hodeida province inaugurated on Tuesday the distribution of symbolic gifts to families of civilian martyrs in the eastern districts, marking the eleventh anniversary of National Resilience Day.

According to Yemen News Agency, Hodeida Undersecretary for Eastern Districts Affairs Amer Muthanna Amer launched the initiative honoring families of civilian martyrs in recognition of their sacrifices and steadfastness. During the event, Amer praised the martyrs' actions and their sacrifices in defense of the homeland, its security, and stability.

He noted that the initiative reflects appreciation for the resilience of the martyrs' families and acknowledges those who lost their lives during the aggression on the country. Director of Social Welfare in the governorate Abdulrahman Basha described supporting martyrs' families as a national and moral responsibility.

He highlighted the commitment of local authorities to provide ongoing care and assistance to these families. Meanwhile, Bajil district director Abdulmunim al-Rifai stated that honoring martyrs' families demonstrates both popular and official solidarity in facing ongoing challenges.

Director of Security for the Eastern Region Colonel Qawan Shuyan reaffirmed commitment to continuing along the path of the martyrs until achieving full victory.
